Two words...Backwards Design

1) Choose an AP theme - Belleza y estética

2) Now be more specific - Music

3) Ask yourself..."What do you really want students to learn about music?"

4) Look to the recommended contexts to help with this

5) Volunteerism & Music, Public Identities & Music, Music & Education

6) Create your Essential Questions

7) Establish your Targets and Objectives

8) Determine your Summative/Performance Assessments

9) Search and Find variety of Authentic Materiales that will support #8

10) Create Activities & Formative Assessments and organize so that they best support preparation
        for various Summative/Performance Assessments

11) Determine what Grammar you will teach

12) Create vocabulary lists using words needed to perform well on
Performance Assessments and words to manage authentic materials.

And yes, the vocabulary is the last item on the list.
